Southern Regional Health System is the leading provider of health care
in the Southern Crescent. As a non-profit community health system, Southern Regional has faithfully
served the healthcare needs of Atlanta's Southern Crescent since 1971.
The health system is comprised of:
- Southern Regional Medical Center - our flagship 406-bed medical /
surgical facility providing a wide range of state-of-the-art
medical services.
- Women's Life Center - On May 14, 2001, we opened our new Women's
Life Center. It has quickly become the marquis facility for women's
health care in the Atlanta area. It provides comprehensive women's
and newborn healthcare in one convenient location.
- Emergency Care - one of the
Georgia's busiest with dedicated trauma and cardiac rooms and serves more than
70,000 patients each year.
- Riverwoods, Southern Regional
Psychiatric Center - addressing the
mental health needs of our community. Provides substance abuse and
mental health treatment for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Southern Regional Homecare - a home health agency providing health
care services in homes in our community.
