RIVERDALE, Ga. – Southern Regional Medical Center will host the Georgia Biomedical
Instrumentation Society’s annual technical conference and equipment
and workshop on Friday, August 15 from 7:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. and Saturday,
August 16 from 7:30 a.m. 4 p.m. The event will take place on the campus
of Southern Regional, located at 11 Upper Riverdale Rd., SW, Riverdale, GA 30274.
The two day event will offer educational and networking opportunities along
with various vendors demonstrating the latest in medical equipment technology.
Dr. Maysam Ghovanloo, Director of Georgia Tech’s Bionics Lab will
serve as a guest speaker.

the development, selection, operation, repair, and support of biomedical
instrumentation in healthcare institutions throughout Georgia, it’s
