Southern Regional Hosts Community Town Hall Meeting


RIVERDALE, Ga. – Clayton County’s sole hospital, Southern Regional Medical Center will host a community town hall meeting on Saturday, May 17 at 10:30 a.m. in the hospital’s education suite located at 11 Upper Riverdale Road, SW in Riverdale.

Southern Regional President and CEO, James E. Crissey is the guest speaker. Crissey will conduct a presentation highlighting the hospital’s services, its economic impact, and what the Special Purpose Local Options Sales Tax (SPLOST) vote scheduled for the Tuesday, May 20 primary election means for Southern Regional’s sustainability. The event is open to the public and will include a question and answer session for those in attendance.

This town hall meeting follows an April 12 forum hosted by JE Group LLC at Divine Faith Ministries International in Jonesboro where Crissey and Clayton County Commissioner, Michael Edmondson (district four) answered questions from county residents in attendance.
