Southern Regional has over 600 Board Certified physicians representing 55 different specialties on staff. These physicians are known for utilizing leading edge medical procedures and employing the latest breakthrough technologies to diagnose and treat patients. New quality standards have been implemented to ensure that patients receive the highest quality care possible.

Our physicians are also active community leaders. Several have served as delegates to the General Assembly for the Georgia Academy of Family Practice, many have won community service awards for their contributions to local community efforts, and still others are leading political advocates on a variety of health-related topics. Our physicians' community service sometimes extends beyond the Southern Crescent. Several have performed missionary work to help the less fortunate in places such as Honduras, Cambodia, Ecuador and Brazil.

In addition to providing excellent health care to patients, many are involved in the planning and operational decision-making within the hospital. As a result, Southern Regional continues to attract some of the finest physicians in the Atlanta area.
