Women’s Life Center
More than 5,000 babies are delivered in our state-of-the-art, $27 million, 107,000 square foot center each year. This facility is the marquis women's health center in the Southern Crescent, offering complete obstetrical, diagnostic and educational services, including a Level 3 NICU.

Cardiovascular care
Performing more heart and vascular care services than any other hospital in the Southern Crescent, Southern Regional offers advanced diagnostics and state-of-the-art procedures. Our program includes vascular surgeries and screenings, comprehensive heart treatment programs, cardiac rehabilitation, nutritional counseling and community outreach.

Surgical services
Our renovated surgical center includes 7 inpatient suites, 5 outpatient suites, 2 cystoscopy rooms, and 2 minor procedure rooms. Outpatient surgery includes ENT, ophthalmology, gynecology, urology, and general surgery, as well as a gastrointestinal laboratory. We now routinely perform a full range of advanced minimally invasive procedures, from laparoscopic colectomy and cholecystectomy to kyphoplasty and laser arthrectomy.

Ortho-neuro and rehab
Our Bone & Joint Program specializes in joint replacement, with an excellent reputation for surgical care and rehabilitation. Rehabilitation services offer many services from traditional physical, speech and occupational therapies as well as specialized services like lymphedema, laryngectomy rehab and pulmonary rehab.

Oncology
With the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment, we offer cancer patients the most advanced care delivered by a dedicated team of specialists. Advanced 3-D imaging, Targeted Drug Therapies, a 30-bed inpatient nursing unit - we have a truly comprehensive program. And our Oncology Research Program is the only one of its kind south of I-20.

Advanced diagnostic imaging
Southern Regional Imaging offers you and your patients a complete range of advanced testing with rapid scheduling, highly-experienced, on-staff radiologists and transcribed reports within 24 hours.

At Southern Regional, we’re always implementing new ideas based on patient needs. Some or our recent innovations include:

• Long-term Acute Care Hospital for patients with multiple health problems who need longer than normal hospital stays.
   

• 23-hour Observation Unit that helps many patients avoid an unnecessary hospital stay, while helping the ER accommodate new emergency patients.
   

• New Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit with 20 beds dedicated to our patients needing comprehensive rehab services.
   

• New dialysis unit, making this much-needed service conveniently available to our community.
