The Pharmacy Department provides inpatient pharmaceutical services
24 hours a day.
The Pharmacy dispenses all medications used in the hospital, as
well as mixes all patient intravenous medications. The Pharmacy
works closely with many of the patient care units, including the
Emergency Department, Inpatient and Ambulatory Surgery Departments,
the Pain Management Center, and the Community Care Center.
Pharmacists evaluate each patient's drug-related needs and help to
determine if any actual or potential drug-related problems exist.
Pharmacists are available to advise, consult with, and educate the
medical, nursing, and clinical staffs, as well as patients, their
families, and the public.
