Adult Intensive Outpatient Care
|
The Intensive Outpatient Program at RiverWoods is designed to
accomodate patients who need mental health and/or substance abuse
treatment on a regular basis, but whose needs are not severe enough to
be treated on an inpatient or partial hospitalization level. Individuals in this
program receive group, individual and family therapy three hours a day,
three to five days per week. Every patient in the Intensive Outpatient
program has a personalized treatment plan and works with a group of
caring professionals including a psychiatrist, social worker, activity
therapist, nurse and chaplain if requested.
