Spiritual Care at Southern Regional

Caring for Mind, Body and Spirit

At Southern Regional Medical Center, we are dedicated to your overall well-being. Our goal during your stay is to assist you on every level-mind, body and spirit.

We understand that being in the hospital can be a stressful experience for patients and their loved ones. It can be overwhelming to cope with health concerns and uncomfortable to find yourself in unfamiliar surroundings.

But the Spiritual Care team is here to help you feel as comfortable and peaceful as possible during your stay.

Here to Help

Spiritual Care team is here to support you and your loved ones and help you find strength from your own personal belief system. We are ecumenical and we are very respectful of the diversity of religious traditions. Our goal is to serve as a resource to all, whether offering a listening ear, providing a specific sacrament or simply contacting your own religious leader for you.

We are here to support you spiritually and emotionally in any way we can-at any time. A chaplain is available 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

A Prayer and Meditation for You

"Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace -

Where there is hatred, let me so love -
Where there is injury, pardon -
Where there is doubt, faith -
Where there is despair, hope -
Where there is darkness, light - and,
Where there is sadness, joy."

- From St. Francis of Assisi
