Having a hard time sleeping at night? Southern Regional can help.
The Sleep Lab is staffed by trained medical professionals and
technicians who help patients with sleep-related problems such as
sleep apnea, insomnia, narcolepsy, and other sleep disorders.
If your physician recommends that you be evaluated for a sleep
disorder, you will be asked to keep a diary of your sleep patterns
and habits for one week. Then, you may be asked to fill out a
questionnaire or be evaluated by a sleep medicine specialist.
Some patients may spend a night in the Sleep Lab for a thorough
evaluation of their quality of sleep. From these evaluations, your
physician will be able to determine your treatment options. Most
people who suffer from a sleep-related problem can get relief
through proper treatment. Talk with your physician about any sleep
related problems.
