RiverWoods is a private, not-for-profit facility offering a Continuum
of Care of inpatient and outpatient services to address behavioral
medicine issues. As a division of Southern Regional Medical Center,
RiverWoods is the only psychiatric and substance abuse treatment program
in the Southern Crescent that provides full service medical, addiction
and psychiatric care. For our patients, this translates to a level of
care that combines a range of exemplary behavioral and medical services
with individual warmth and caring. Whether the patient’s needs call
for supportive therapy sessions, an open day program or secure
hospitalized environment, RiverWoods provides a structured setting where
patients and families can focus on prevention, education, evaluation and
treatment for a variety of behavioral medicine issues.
