Southern Regional Has the Right Resources to Battle Cancer
Southern Regional Health System provides the best resources for fighting cancer in south metro Atlanta. We offer leading-edge technology and the latest advances in treatment, as well as a caring team of experts, to help you battle cancer and become a survivor.
We provide comprehensive cancer care, including inpatient and outpatient services. Nurses in the inpatient and outpatient units provide expert care, as well as education and support.
They also focus on helping people manage the symptoms of their disease and treatment.
Inpatient and Outpatient Care
For inpatients, Southern Regional's Oncology Services specializes in helping people with cancer, hematology or immune system disorders and their families. We deliver care from diagnosis through active treatment. The inpatient unit serves individuals who require around-the-clock care.
Outpatient care includes many different treatments such as chemotherapy, targeted therapies and blood products. Located on 4B, Outpatient Oncology is an infusion center for outpatients who need medication administration, chemotherapy administration and laboratory tests.
The unit has 8 reclining chairs. Outpatient Oncology accepts patients by appointment only-Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
