Southern Regional offers many special procedures in our Diagnostic Imaging department. This area is staffed by expert technologists and radiologists who perform nearly 3,000 interventional procedures each year.

One of the common interventional procedures we perform is the arteriogram-an important tool for detecting and diagnosing disease. An arteriogram is a procedure where images are taken while radiographic dye is injected into the body. It shows doctors how the body's blood supply is working and reveals other important medical information.

We also specialize in treating fibroids with fibroid embolizations. Fibroid embolization is a non-surgical treatment that can shrink fibroids and reduce symptoms.
