The department also includes the Georgia Orthopedic Institute, the Southern Regional Bariatric Center, the Heartburn Treatment Center of Atlanta at Southern Regional and the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbarics.
Southern Regional is the only healthcare provider in south metro Atlanta that provides state-of-the-art, complex surgeries such as minimally invasive spine procedures, neurosurgery for brain tumors and da Vinci® Robot-assisted laparoscopic procedures. We also offer the region's only dedicated, total joint surgery program, as well as the area's only comprehensive surgical weight loss program with education, support, diagnostic testing and surgery at one convenient location.
