Meeting Women's Health Needs
Women's Community Care offers a full range of obstetrical and gynecological services to meet the healthcare needs of all women. Some of our services include:
- Prenatal Care
- Labor, Delivery and Newborn Care through the Women's Life Center
- Postpartum Care
- Regular Gynecological Exams
- Pap Smears
- Breast Self Exam Instruction
We also have a social worker who can help you with referrals to community agencies and a variety of other services.
Our Care Team
At Women's Community Care, we feel a team approach is best suited to meet the varied needs of our patients. We match you up with the providers most qualified to meet your individual needs.
Our team is made up of highly-trained professionals dedicated to providing you with superior care. Our staff includes certified nurse midwives, OB/GYN nurse practitioners, physicians, nurses, social workers and maternal-child educators.
Prenatal and labor/delivery care is provided by our nurse midwives, while OB/GYN nurse practitioners see patients with gynecological and family planning needs. A physician is always available for any medical or surgical need you may have.
Hours and Appointments
Patients are seen by appointment only. The Women's Community Care is open the following hours:
Monday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Thursday: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Friday: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Making an appointment with Women's Community Care is easy. Just call (770) 991-8218 and let our receptionist know the type of services you think you might need. If you think you may be pregnant, we recommend that you visit the Health Department to confirm your pregnancy and to find out if you are eligible for any government assistance programs.
Payment Options
Our goal is to provide you with the healthcare you need regardless of your financial position. Women's Community Care accepts most commercial insurance (no HMOs), Medicaid, Medicare and patients without any insurance, who are considered "self-pay."
If you are a "self-pay" patient, we will set up an appointment for you to speak with a financial counselor who will discuss our charges and set up a payment plan that works for you
