Kid's Clinic at the NICU

Southern Regional Offers Special Services for Preemies

In an effort to prevent preemies from contracting Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), the Kids' Clinic provides a special treatment for your baby.

The treatment is called immunoprophylaxis (Synagis), and it is offered weekly throughout the RSV season.

The NICU staff operates the clinic, but you must get a referral from pediatrician before coming to the clinic. Talk to your child's pediatrician to learn more about RSV and to determine whether your baby qualifies for treatment.
