In an effort to prevent premature infants from contracting Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV), the Kid’s Clinic offers immunoprophylaxis treatment (Synagis) weekly. The NICU staff operates the clinic. A Pediatrician referral must be obtained prior to treatment at the clinic. For more information about RSV and to determine whether an infant qualifies for treatment, consult with the child’s Pediatrician.
