Southern Regional Medical Center's
Special Care Nursery has put together some information that they hope
will be helpful to parents of neonates (newborn infants up to 6 weeks
old) and pre-term infants.

size - 596 kb) An overview of what parents can expect to see when
they first see their baby in the NICU.
- "A Bad Day in the NICU" (file
size - 534 kb) A document specially designed to explain to parents
problems that may arise with their babies while in the NICU.
- "Going Home" (file size - 1.01 mb) A
document to help guide parents in preparing for their baby's
discharge from the hospital.
