Summer FREE 6-Week Diabetes Course

Summer Free 6-Week Diabetes Course at Southern Regional Medical Center

Southern Regional Medical Center is hosting a summer FREE 6-Week Diabetes Program presented by Alliant Quality. Participants attend the sessions every Thursday from June 7 through July 12. The sessions will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the hospital’s Education Center (on the Ground Floor).

This program, “Everyone with Diabetes Counts,” is designed for Pre-Diabetes or Type 2 Diabetes patients and offers a fun, engaging, hands-on approach to learning. Participants will gain knowledge on diabetes risks, best nutrition practices, understanding labels, complications and medications, and ideas on managing stress – all guiding the attendee to a better quality of life.

The Southern Regional Education Center is located in the hospital on 11 Upper Riverdale Road, Riverdale. Free parking is available. Attendees should park at the far left of the main entrance and enter through the doors at the end of the building. The Ground Floor can be accessed via stairs or an elevator.
