At Southern Regional, we care more than just about the meals during your hospital stay.

In fact, we go beyond delivering satisfying meals to our patients, and we strive to help them improve their long-term nutrition and build a better lifestyle.

Our trained registered dietitians and dietetic technicians are here to provide nutrition education to patients, family members and the community. From nutrition basics to more advanced meal planning, they can help you find more nutritional options and enjoy a healthier lifestyle.

Change Starts Here

We hope that our patients will embrace some of the hospital's healthy eating habits once they go back home.

But we also strive to make positive changes in the hospital, too. By introducing healthier options in our hospital cafeteria, we are exposing people to new ways of nutritious eating. We want to reach out to not only our patients, but also their family members and our own employees.

For example, we offer a different "healthy choice" item every day on our menu, and we have begun introducing more vegetarian options. To help you cut calories without compromising taste, we're offering tasty soups with less cream and salt and all-natural juices. We have also expanded our salad bar.
